There are many health benefits of eating sprouted flour. Sprouted flour is the powder form of sprouted grain and seeds. How to Make Sprouted Flour
You can make different types of sprouted flour by using different types of grain and seeds sprout. In order to make grains sprout - grains need to be soaked and later on, drained and rinsed at regular intervals till they germinate and once germinated, the grains are dried, milled and processed to make a sprouted flour.
Here are some tips for you:-
- Wash the grains to remove dirt and impurities like chemicals.
- Soak the grain in water for about 12 to 24 hours. (use an air tight jar for soaking the grains)
- Now, drain the water out and rinse the grains with clean water.
- Leave them to sprout.
- Repeat the process if the grains do not sprout within 6-8 hours.
- After sprouting – rinse the grains and leave them to dry.
- The grains are ready to grind and mill.
