How to sprout Mung Beans

Mung beans are very delicious and are fully loaded with vitamins such as vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C , vitamin E, and minerals such as potassium, calcium magnesium and other nutrients like proteins. Learning, how to sprout mung beans is very easy and simple process. Sprouts can be eaten raw in salads or cooked.




Ingredients:

Organic, dried , whole Mung Beans - 1 cup (yields 4 cups)

Water - 6 cups

Light Cloth - Either cheesecloth or thin dish towel for covering jar.

Method:

- Choose whole mung beans and rinse them well before soaking.

- Take water containing glass jar and allow them to soak overnight or for 8 to 12 hours.

- In the morning, drain all of the water from the mung beans.

- Place soaked mung beans in a light cloth, use either cheesecloth or thin dish towel and twist the sides of the cloth together.

- Place this mung beans containing cloth inside of a container with a lid.

- Cover the container and keep it in a warm, dark place for approximately 2 days.

- Sprinkle little water occasionally in order to keep the apparatus hydrated.

- Now, sprouted mung beans are ready.
